Kommuninvest of Sweden, fully owned by Kommuninvest Cooperative Society, offers its member municipalities effective financial management focusing on lending and consultation. Further information about our products can be found under Lending.

As a municipally owned company, the operation is regulated by the Swedish Local Government Act.

Largest in Sweden in Municipal Funding

We are the largest in Sweden in municipal lending. Volume of loans has increased by 15 percent a year on average, in 2009 amounting to app. SEK 123 billion. By 2015 the volume is expected to increase to SEK 175 billion.

In addition to credit, we also provide extensive consultation in areas such as liquidity preparedness, financial capacity, development potential and financial flexibility.

In addition customers are offered a number of tools for ongoing financial monitoring. These include Finance Support, a web-based tool that creates an overview and an overall approach in the municipal corporation.
